ENCIRCLING THE CIRCLE

Generally my work relays on a process where transformations ultimately carry certain meaning and value in a specific context. The initial idea came to me from an observation of the surroundings of the chosen site, which left some subconscious traces, and then pecking over them consciously against the reality and mentally formalized structure which would stand as a paradox.

after visiting Jagannath temple at Puri, I was left with a very strong feeling that meaning of the ward is dying.. .. (I mean function of word 'religion' in human civilization & meaning as much as I understand is different and actually what functions inside the main shrine is different.. ... I come out of that circle and wear my footwear and again mark another circle over the existing white circle with black charcoal...mentioning time, date and my signature...as marking my point as a visitors.)
